Aircraft Parts Cleaning Technician (Oxnard, CA)

Key Responsibilities

• Safely prepare, mask, and clean metal and non-metal parts using abrasive-blast and high-pressure cabinet washers
• Inspect cleaned components to verify they meet rigorous quality standards before repair or overhaul
• Perform routine maintenance on cleaning equipment and keep the workspace organized and compliant with safety guidelines
• Collaborate with team members on Lean initiatives that streamline flow and reduce waste

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to lift up to 50 lb, stand for long periods, and safely handle solvents and PPE
• Must pass pre-employment and random drug & alcohol tests in accordance with 14 CFR Part 120 and 49 CFR Part 40
• Employment is contingent upon a post-offer, job-related background check
• Reliable attendance and willingness to work overtime when needed
• Detail-oriented inspection skills; clear verbal and written communication
