Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Aircraft Parts Sales Representative to join our team. This role involves managing sales of aircraft parts, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining strong relationships with clients. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a solid understanding of aviation and aircraft parts, rotables, components, and consumables, and experience in sales management. Bilingual abilities and familiarity with inventory control systems are highly desirable. Responsibilities
- Engage with customers to understand their aircraft parts needs and provide assistance in sourcing parts. Assist clients to escalate technical questions to technical FAA A&P mechanics within the company for expert recommendations
- Process sales transactions efficiently using POS systems, handling cash and credit payments accurately
- Provide quotes on parts through our internal ERP and outside external applications and tools to streamline quote delivery.
- Assist with order processing, tracking shipments, and coordinating delivery schedules
- Utilize marketing strategies to promote products and increase sales opportunities
- Provide exceptional customer service through effective communication and phone etiquette
- Collaborate with the order and procurement team to ensure product availability aligns with customer purchase and delivery schedules
- Keep detailed records of sales activities, customer interactions, and inventory data using company CRM, WMS, Microsoft Excel or similar tools
- Support dealership or retail sales initiatives by participating in promotional events and outreach activities
Qualifications
- Proven experience in retail sales, aviation maintenance environments, or aircraft/automotive repair/maintenance is preferred
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written; bilingual abilities are a plus
- Familiarity with aircraft diagnostics, aircraft maintenance, aircraft service, and repair processes
- Experience with inventory management systems (CMMS preferred), POS systems, and retail math
- Knowledge of marketing techniques and sales management strategies
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately while maintaining professional phone etiquette
- Demonstrated negotiation skills and customer service excellence
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel and organizational tools for record keeping and reporting
- Aviation or dealership experience is highly desirable but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate
