Duties
- Manage and maintain comprehensive aircraft records using document management systems such TBX and SharePoint, ensuring accuracy and accessibility.
- Develop and implement effective metadata schemas and taxonomy structures to categorize records systematically for easy retrieval.
- Oversee archival processing in accordance with archival standards, ensuring proper filing, digitization, and preservation of historical documents.
- Ensure compliance management by verifying that all records adhere to regulatory requirements and internal policies related to aviation safety and documentation standards.
- Conduct proofreading, quality checks, and audits of records to guarantee data integrity, completeness, and correctness.
- Facilitate information governance initiatives by establishing best practices for document control, security protocols, and access permissions aligned with information security policies.
- Coordinate with maintenance and operations teams for aircraft planning purposes
- Support administrative tasks related to records management, including filing, data entry, and updating archives within content management systems like SharePoint.
Requirements
- Proven experience with document management systems; familiarity with aviation or corporate content management systems is preferred
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage large volumes of records with high accuracy
- Knowledge of metadata, taxonomy development, archival standards, and records processing techniques
- Experience in compliance within regulated industries (aviation/aerospace preferred)
- Excellent proofreading skills and strong attention to detail
- Ability to manage digitization projects while following information governance policies
- Administrative experience in records or archives management
- Familiarity with information security protocols is a plus
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Pay: $50,000.00 per year
