Airline Affairs Coordinator

Hourly Pay Range: $30.67 - $52.79

*Final pay offer will be based on relevant skills and experience to the position.

Job Summary: The Airline Affairs Coordinator is responsible for supporting various functions including establishing and maintaining internal business partnerships, monitoring and tracking tenant lease compliance, and providing daily tenant and airline resolutions. Other responsibilities include facilities inspections, assisting with leases, business plans, proposals, insurance certificates, licenses, etc.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Works collaboratively with internal departments and business partners to provide resolutions to day-to-day tenant or airport user issues.
  • Conducts regular airport leaseholds and facilities inspections to ensure compliance with lease terms and conditions and established Nashville International Airport practices.
  • Drafts leases, amendments, and assists with negotiating lease terms.
  • Works to generate, track, and organize exhibits to update Premises Notices for the Airline Use and Lease Agreements.
  • Calculates various monthly reports per the agreements and submits them to the finance department for billing.
  • Tracks and monitors monthly activity and financial reports to ensure agreement compliance.
  • Monitors and follows up for compliance on all agreements, leases, terms, and conditions, including issues related to public and passenger safety.
  • Maintains accurate records and tracking logs of all lease agreements and licenses, including effective dates, termination dates, and type of operation.
  • Prepares correspondence, documentation, exhibits, and tenant reports.
  • Tracks and monitors insurance certificates per agreement requirements and requests renewals when required.
  • Identifies, analyzes, and processes data to interpret trends or patterns and generate summaries and reports.
  • Initiates and cultivates communication with airport tenants, other airport users, and business partners to ensure favorable working relationships among departmental administration and tenants.
  • Responds to general requests from airlines or airline-related tenants.
  • Demonstrates a proactive, problem-solving mindset.
  • Maintains regular on-time attendance.
  • Follows all safety regulations.
  • Supports the Nashville International Airport’s commitment to its culture and values, including Respect, Integrity, Service and Excellence (RISE).
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Other Characteristics:

  • Microsoft Office: Proficient skill in using Microsoft Office applications such as Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Security Identification Display Area (SIDA) badge.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree In business administration, aviation, airport management, commercial real estate, or related field.
  • 3-5 years of airport lease management or related experience
  • Valid Driver License CLASS D

Preferred:

  • Certified Member with American Association of Airport Executives (A.A.A.E.)
