Airline Operations Control Solution-Product Owner (Libadiye Office)

About the role:

As a Product Owner reporting to the Manager of Flight Operations Solutions, you will drive the product vision and roadmap of our Airline Operations Control solution family.

This mission-critical product enables airlines to manage daily flight operations, disruption management, flight assignments, and ensure on-time performance. You will lead a team of Business Analysts, collaborate with developers, architects, and operational stakeholders, and translate airline operations needs into high-impact product features.

This role provides a unique opportunity to shape a complex enterprise solution used in real-time operations control centers (OCC), with direct impact on airline efficiency and customer experience.

This position will be

• Define and own the strategic roadmap for our Airline Operations Control Solutions, proactively identifying priorities and driving execution with minimal supervision
• Champion the airline operations perspective throughout the product lifecycle, ensuring solutions meet real-world OCC and flight operations requirements
• Lead the conceptualization and development of solutions that cover irregular operations management, crew assignment, flight tracking, slot and turnaround optimization
• Translate complex operational requirements into structured product features and acceptance criteria
• Manage backlog, prioritize features, and ensure smooth delivery in agile sprints
• Build solutions from concept to production, defining MVPs and scaling for international airline customers
• Represent the solution in industry forums and with airline customers, presenting solution roadmaps and gathering feedback

How do we describe the perfect match?

• 5–8 years of professional experience in product management, business analysis, or related roles
• Experience in the aviation industry, ideally within airline operations, OCC, or mission-critical enterprise systems
• Strong understanding of disruption management, crew scheduling, flight operations processes is a significant plus
• Proven experience as a Product Owner in an agile environment
• Familiarity with backlog management tools (Jira, Azure DevOps, etc.)
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, able to work with both technical teams and operational leaders
• Analytical and strategic mindset; able to translate operational pain points into product opportunities
• Experience with early-stage product development (from concept to implementation) is valued.
• Project management experience with ability to lead cross-functional initiatives
• Comfort working in environments with some ambiguity
• Experience with management consulting approaches such as slide deck creation, executive-ready documentation, and structured deliverables is valued
• Experience in building relationships with senior executives is beneficial
• Excellent English communication skills (speaking, listening, reading, writing)
