Airline Operations Control Solution - Senior Business Analyst (Libadiye Office)

About the role:

As a Senior Business Analyst reporting to the Manager of Flight Operations Solutions you will play a key role in the design and evolution of our Airline Operations Control solution family.

This solution is mission-critical for airlines: enabling daily flight operations, disruption management, crew and flight assignment, and ensuring on-time performance. You will work closely with business stakeholders and IT teams, conducting gap analysis, designing future-state processes, and ensuring smooth alignment with global industry practices.

This role provides a unique opportunity to gain international know-how and contribute to one of the most complex and dynamic domains in aviation – Operations Control (OCC).

This position will be

Industry Awareness:

• Track industry trends, OCC best practices, and regulatory updates relevant to airline Operations
• Participate in global aviation forums and working groups to represent Turkish Airlines Technology
• Benchmark against industry solutions to identify improvement opportunities

System Design and Documentation:

• Design and document target workflows for flight operations and disruption management
• Prepare clear specifications, user manuals, and module documentation
• Create diagrams and process maps for better understanding of system flows

Business Analysis and Communication:

• Translate operational challenges and user needs into structured requirements
• Prepare business analysis reports and present insights to management
• Act as the bridge between business users (OCC, crew, flight ops) and technical teams

Testing and Project Management:

• Design and build test cases, run and manage functional tests, and coordinate UAT process

• Contribute to project lifecycle processes from from project management to delivery and evaluation.

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years of experience in business analysis preferably within aviation, operations, or large-scale IT projects
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, especially in complex and dynamic environments
• Hands-on experience with analysis techniques (use case modeling, process analysis, requirement management, stakeholder analysis, risk assessment, etc.)
• Proficiency in SQL for data querying and analysis
• Experience in designing and understanding data models
• Hands-on experience in preparing business and technical reports
• Experience in airline operations (flight planning, crew management, scheduling, OCC) is a strong advantage
• Proven track record in transformation or mission-critical system projects
• Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills (verbal, written, visual)
• Knowledge of system integrations and web services
• Excellent command of English (speaking, listening, reading, writing)
