Position: Airport Ambassador
Location: Gerald R. Ford International Airport (GRR)
Pay: $15/hr | Part-Time (6-15 hrs/week)
Schedule: Bi-weekly A/B schedule (assigned shifts stay the same; includes weekends, holidays, early mornings & late nights)

What You'll Do

• Greet travelers and provide a warm, upbeat welcome
• Help passengers find gates, baggage claim, transportation, restaurants, etc.
• Share local favorites—breweries, food, attractions, events
• Offer assistance to anyone looking lost or unsure
• Answer questions at the Visitor Info Center or by phone
• Stay active, walking terminals to be visible and helpful
• Report any issues that affect guest experience or safety

Note: This is a mobile role. You must be able to stand and walk for up to 5.5 hours at a time.

How Scheduling Works

• You’ll work on a consistent A Week / B Week schedule
• Week A: Tuesday - 8:00pm - 12:00am
• Week B: Saturday - 8:00pm - 12:00am
• This role is a Roaming Airport Ambassador that walks throughout the airport for the entirety of their shift.
• Shifts will be permanently assigned and repeat every other week
• You’ll know your schedule in advance—no surprises
• Willingness to help out by picking up open shifts is appreciated, especially other evenings and late nights (8p–12a)

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• 1–2 years of customer service preferred
• Must be available for your assigned schedule
• Able to stand/walk for 5.5 hours per shift
• Willing to follow airport health/safety protocols
• Positive, helpful, guest-focused attitude
• This position does require you to pass an in-depth background check.
