Job Summary:
The Airport Operations Agent (PTI) is responsible for executing daily passenger service duties such as check-in, gate, arrivals, responding to passenger inquiries and resolving simple issues and complaints under the guidance and supervision of senior staff and managers.
Duties/Responsibilities:
● Welcomes arriving passengers at the gate and assisting them with immigration and customs as needed
● Checks-in passengers by checking baggage, verifying and clearing travel documents
● Performs departure gate duties such as crew escort, gate announcement, seat upgrades, etc. to ensure smooth boarding process
● Performs various Lounge duties including reception desk, pantry assistance, buffet counter, floor attendant, clearing, restocking, and cleaning
● Is responsible for irregular flight handling such as distribution of meal coupon, hotel & taxi vouchers, follow up on inquiries for additional reimbursement of transportation, car rental, etc., baggage distribution and storage and guidance to taxi or bus transfer area
● Performs Travel Assistance Service (TAS) duties by escorting passengers including minors for arrival and departure
Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
● Ability to read, write, fluently speak and understand the English language
● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
● Must be able to obtain airport badge with US Customs clearance
● Amadeus Altea System
● Ability to obtain liquor license/Bartender Card
● Ability to obtain food handling certificate
● Must be able to pass JAL Dangerous Goods (DG) test

● Prolonged periods of standing and walking
● Must be able to lift and carry up to 15 lbs.
● Must be able to travel occasionally as requested
● Able to work rotating shifts including early mornings, overtime, weekends and holidays
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.22 - $21.20 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
