Algebra and Calculus Teacher

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in various subjects, including mathematics and science, and have a commitment to fostering a positive learning environment. This role involves engaging with students, developing curricula, and utilizing innovative teaching methods to enhance student understanding and performance.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement lesson plans that align with curriculum standards in subjects such as Algebra2, Trigonometry Trigonometric Ratios, Identities, Geometry and , AP Pre- Calc .
• Utilize learning technology and instructional design techniques to create interactive and effective learning experiences.
• Manage classroom dynamics effectively through behavior management strategies and mentoring.
• Provide tutoring support and academic advising to students as needed.
• Conduct assessments including standardized testing to evaluate student progress and adapt teaching methods accordingly.
• Engage in scientific research and laboratory experiences to enrich the curriculum.
• Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development and classroom management strategies.
• Maintain accurate records of student performance and provide constructive feedback through proofreading of assignments.

Experience

• Proven experience working with students in an educational setting is essential.
• Strong background in teaching various subjects including Math (Algebra, Differential Equations), Science (Biochemistry, Microbiology), and specialized areas such as Special Education or Montessori methods is preferred.
• Experience in education administration or library services is a plus.
• Familiarity with research laboratory experience is advantageous for science-related teaching roles.
• Excellent communication skills are required for effective interaction with students, parents, and staff.
