Alibaba Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Alibaba Specialist to manage and optimize our sourcing and procurement activities on Alibaba.com. The ideal candidate will identify reliable suppliers, negotiate favorable terms, and ensure timely delivery of high-quality products. This role requires a strong understanding of international trade, supplier verification, and logistics.

Key Responsibilities:

• Research, identify, and evaluate suppliers on Alibaba and other B2B platforms.
• Verify supplier credentials, certifications, and production capabilities.
• Negotiate pricing, MOQs, payment terms, and lead times with suppliers.
• Coordinate sample orders and quality control inspections.
• Manage purchase orders, track shipments, and handle logistics coordination.
• Resolve issues with suppliers, shipments, or product quality proactively.
• Maintain detailed records of suppliers, products, and procurement activities.
• Provide regular reports on sourcing performance, cost savings, and supplier reliability.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Proven experience in sourcing products from Alibaba.com or similar B2B platforms.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Knowledge of international shipping, customs, and import regulations.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Ability to evaluate product quality and supplier reliability.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office or Google Workspace; ERP experience is a plus.
• Fluency in English.

Preferred:

• Experience with dropshipping or e-commerce product sourcing.
• Background in supply chain management, logistics, or procurement.
