Alignment Technician

Duties

• Perform precise wheel alignments using specialized alignment equipment to meet manufacturer specifications
• Inspect suspension, steering components, and related systems to identify wear or damage
• Utilize hand tools, power tools, and Truck repair equipment to adjust and repair vehicle components
• Assist with vehicle maintenance tasks such as tire rotations, balancing, and basic repairs as needed
• Lift heavy vehicles or parts safely using appropriate techniques and equipment to facilitate repairs
• Document all alignment procedures, inspections, and repairs accurately in service records

Skills

• Strong mechanical knowledge of vehicle systems, including suspension and steering components
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and automotive service equipment
• Experience with Semi-Truck wheel alignments and suspension systems along with the braking systems will be very helpful
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently in a busy workshop environment
• Excellent attention to detail to ensure precise alignments and quality workmanship
• Mechanic experience or background in Semi-Truck service is preferred for success in this role
• Good communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and explain technical issues clearly
