All-Rounder Maintenance Technician

We are looking for an experienced Home Maintenance Technician to handle day-to-day maintenance tasks for short-term rental apartments and villas. The ideal candidate must be skilled, reliable, and able to respond quickly to guest issues.

Key Maintenance Responsibilities1. AC & Cooling Systems

• Fixing smart door locks
• Diagnose and fix AC cooling issues
• Repair water leaks from AC units
• Clean and replace filters
• Check thermostat and gas levels
• Handle humidity or bad-smell issues

Plumbing Repairs

• Clear blocked drains and toilets
• Fix leaks under sinks & bathrooms
• Repair low water pressure issues
• Maintain water heaters
• Install/replace faucets and shower mixers

Electrical Tasks

• Replace lights, switches, and sockets
• Troubleshoot power trips / breaker issues
• Fix wiring faults
• Repair water heater and appliance connections

Appliance Repairs

• Fix fridge cooling issues
• Repair washing machine & dishwasher drain problems
• Handle dryer heating faults
• Minor repairs for microwave, kettle, toaster, etc.

WiFi & Smart TV Support

• Router setup & troubleshooting
• Improve weak WiFi signal
• Recover IPTV / Smart TV not connecting
• Assist with guest TV login issues

Furniture & Fixtures

• Repair loose bed frames
• Fix broken chairs and tables
• Adjust wardrobe sliding doors
• Repair curtain rails and blinds
• Fix door locks and handles

Painting & Wall Touch-ups

• Patch damaged walls
• Repair scratches or black marks
• Repaint small sections when required

Water Leaks & Damp Issues

• Identify ceiling leaks
• Fix bathroom waterproofing issues
• Treat mold in bathrooms and kitchens

Pest Control Support

• Identify and report pest issues
• Perform basic treatment (ants, cockroaches)
• Coordinate with pest control company if needed

Kitchen & Bathroom Repairs

• Fix cabinet hinges, drawers, and shelves
• Reseal silicone in bathrooms
• Repair shower glass rollers
• Install small accessories

Smart Lock & Keybox Support

• Change batteries
• Fix lock connection issues
• Assist guests with lockouts

Villa Outdoor Maintenance (if applicable)

• Assist with pool pump issues
• Basic garden irrigation checks
• Replace outdoor lighting
• Inspect outdoor furniture & BBQ units

Additional Responsibilities

• Attend urgent guest complaints immediately
• Perform scheduled monthly inspections
• Report major issues to operations team
• Maintain tools and spare parts inventory
• Provide before/after photos of work
• Coordinate with the cleaning team for check-in readiness

Requirements

• Minimum 2–3 years experience in maintenance (hotel, holiday home, or facility management preferred)
• Strong knowledge of AC, plumbing, electrical & appliance repair
• Valid UAE experience preferred
• Good communication skills
• Ability to work under pressure and respond to urgent tasks

Pay: AED2,500.00 - AED4,500.00 per month
