We are looking for someone like that who can
Perform daily functions such as:
Perform daily position reconciliation, ensuring all trades, capital calls, redemptions, and related events are accurately reflected in internal ledgers and systems.
Capture and track key events, reconciling transactions against custodial and vendor records.
Investigate and resolve breaks or discrepancies, taking ownership of issues and driving them to resolution.
Collaborate with external parties (Fund and Fund Administrators) to confirm position accuracy and resolve exceptions.
Continuously evaluate and improve reconciliation procedures, identifying opportunities for automation and efficiency while maintaining rigorous controls.
Your team
You’ll be working in the Wealth Management Alternative Investments team in Pune. We support all operational aspects associated with our high net worth/ ultra-high net worth client investments in Alternative Investment products.

Your expertise
1–3 years of experience in reconciliations or related operational roles within Alternative Investments or similar products (e.g., Mutual Funds, ETFs).
Strong attention to detail and risk management, with a proven ability to execute reconciliation tasks precisely.
Ability to prioritize multiple reconciliation issues in a fast-paced environment.
Familiarity with Alternative Investment products and the systems used for position tracking and reconciliation.
Analytical problem-solving skills to identify root causes of reconciliation breaks and implement effective solutions.
Strong communication and partnership skills to collaborate with internal teams and external vendors.
Experience with process improvement initiatives, especially those related to reconciliation workflows.
Positive, can-do attitude that motivates others and drives continuous improvement.
College or university degree in accounting, business, or finance
Ability to work in a team environment
Strong research and problem-solving skills
Strong understanding of accounting principles and valuation methodologies
Experience with Fund Valuation and or Transfer Agency / Investor Servicing a plus
Experience with Alternative Investment products (Hedge Funds, Private Equity, Credit and Real Estate) or similar products (e.g., Mutual Funds, ETFs)
Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel (formulas, macros, vlookups, etc.)
Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to interact with various stakeholders at different levels
