ALUMINIUM AND GLASS SUPERVISOR

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Supervise installation of aluminum works (windows, doors, curtain walls, cladding)
• Oversee glass installation (tempered, laminated, double glazing)
• Ensure work follows approved shop drawings and specifications
• Coordinate daily site activities with workers and subcontractor
• Technical & Quality Control
• Check measurements, alignment, and leveling before installation
• Ensure proper fixing, sealing (silicone), and finishing
• Inspect materials (aluminum profiles, glass panels, accessories)
• Maintain quality standards as per project requirements
• Manage installers, fabricators, and helpers
• Assign daily tasks and monitor productivity
• Train workers on proper installation techniques
• Ensure discipline and safety compliance on site
• Coordinate with engineers, project managers, and consultants
• Plan material requirements and site deliveries
• Prepare daily progress reports
• Follow project schedule and deadlines
• Ensure workers use PPE (helmets, gloves, safety belts)
• Monitor safe handling of glass (high risk material)
• Follow site safety rules and toolbox talks
• Prevent accidents and report incidents
• Check incoming materials and quantities
• Avoid damage to glass panels and aluminum sections
• Track usage and minimize wastage
• Coordinate with store/warehouse team
• Handle site issues (misalignment, breakage, design conflicts)
• Suggest practical solutions on-site
• Communicate problems to engineers quickly
• Knowledge of aluminum systems & glass types
• Ability to read shop drawings
• Leadership and team management
• Basic measurement tools knowledge
• Communication skills (English often helpful in UAE)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED2,500.00 - AED3,000.00 per month
