ALUMINIUM DRAFTSMAN

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Aluminium Draftsman to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing detailed shop drawings, fabrication drawings, and installation drawings for aluminium and glazing projects in accordance with project specifications and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare aluminium and glass shop drawings, fabrication drawings, and as-built drawings.
• Review architectural and structural drawings and project specifications.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and site teams to ensure drawing accuracy.
• Prepare material take-offs and cutting lists for production.
• Revise drawings based on consultant/client comments and site requirements.
• Ensure all drawings comply with project standards and local regulations.
• Maintain drawing records and documentation.

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Civil, Mechanical, Architectural Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in aluminium and glazing drafting.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD; knowledge of BIM/Revit is an advantage.
• Strong understanding of aluminium systems, curtain walls, windows, doors, and glass works.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
