Aluminium Facade Designer

• Create detailed façade drawings, layouts, and shop drawings for aluminium cladding, curtain wall, window wall, glazing, and louver systems.
• Work on CAD modeling, material take-offs, and design development using AutoCAD.
• Prepare 2D details and plans, elevations, and sections. (3D is a plus)
• Coordinate with design and engineering teams, consultants, and project stakeholders.
• Understand façade standards, tolerances, anchoring, fixings, and interface with structure.
• Support in document preparation, revisions, and technical detailing for project execution.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in aluminium façade and building envelope design.
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Knowledge in curtain wall principles, glazing types, aluminium profiles, gaskets, sealants, brackets, and façade performance basics.
• Ability to read architectural and structural drawings.
• Material knowledge for façade elements and fastening methods.
• Good communication and coordination skills.

Good to have:

• 3D modeling using Revit or similar tools.
• Understanding of façade performance concepts like air-water tightness, thermal behavior, and wind load coordination.

Industry Use Tools / Materials:

• Aluminium profiles, glass panels, brackets, sealants, gaskets, and anchoring solutions from brands like Schüco or Technal.
