Aluminum Engineer

An Aluminum Engineer is responsible for the design, detailing, fabrication support, and installation of aluminum systems used in buildings, such as curtain walls, windows, doors, and cladding. The role combines technical design with site coordination and production knowledge.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop aluminum systems:
• Curtain walls
• Doors and windows
• Skylights and partitions
• Cladding and architectural features
• Prepare and review:
• Shop drawings
• Fabrication drawings
• Material submittals
• Coordinate with architects, consultants, and contractors to ensure design compliance
• Provide technical support to factory and site teams during fabrication and installation
• Review structural and thermal performance requirements of aluminum systems
• Ensure compliance with project specs and local regulations (e.g., Dubai Municipality)
• Monitor site installation and resolve technical issues
• Coordinate testing of aluminum systems:
• Water tightness
• Air infiltration
• Structural performance
• Liaise with suppliers for aluminum profiles, glass, hardware, and accessories

Experience:

• UAE: 5 years (Preferred)

Work Location: In person
