Aluminum Fitter / Installer (Site-Based – Installation Role)

Job Summary

The Aluminum Fitter / Installer is responsible for the on-site installation, alignment, and finishing of aluminum and glass systems including windows, doors, curtain walls, partitions, and structural aluminum works, ensuring proper fit, function, and finishing as per approved drawings.

Key Responsibilities:

Installation Works

· Install aluminum windows, doors, sliding, bifold, curtain walls, and partitions on site.

· Fix frames, sashes, and glass panels as per drawings and site conditions.

· Carry out sealing, silicone works, and weatherproofing.

Alignment & Finishing

· Ensure proper leveling, plumb, and smooth operation of installed systems.

· Adjust rollers, hinges, locks, and accessories for perfect functioning.

Maintenance & Repairs

· Rectify snags, misalignments, and defects during handover.

· Support maintenance and repair work when required.

Coordination

· Work closely with site supervisors, team leaders, and other trades.

· Follow site instructions and project schedules.

Quality & Safety

· Ensure installations meet STEEL DISTRICT quality standards.

· Follow site safety rules and PPE requirements at all times.

Qualifications & Experience

· A minimum 5 years of experience in aluminum installation works is required.

· Hands-on experience with windows, doors, facades, and partitions.

· Experience with Gulf Extrusions systems is required.

· Knowledge of European systems (e.g., Alumil, Technal) is an advantage.

Technical Skills

· Ability to read installation/shop drawings.

· Skilled in alignment, sealing, glass fixing, and hardware installation.

· Familiar with hand tools and site equipment.

Physical Requirements

· Ability to work at heights and outdoor environments.

· Capable of lifting glass and aluminum frames with proper safety methods.

Pay: Up to AED2,000.00 per month
