Duties
- Perform MIG (Metal Inert Gas) welding on aluminum sheets and components following detailed blueprints and schematics
- .Must be proficient in using a measuring tape
- Conduct quality checks using basic math skills and mechanical knowledge to verify dimensions and weld integrity
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols related to welding, rigging, machining, and construction site practices.
- Proven experience in manufacturing facilities involving metal fabrication
- Strong proficiency in MIG welding of aluminum; TIG welding experience is a plus for specialized tasks
- Familiarity with plasma cutting, press brake operations, and plasma cutting techniques
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately
- Knowledge of ASME codes & standards related to welding and fabrication processes
- Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, calipers, micrometers, and schematics for precise work
- Mechanical aptitude with understanding of rigging, pipe threading, soldering, machining, assembly processes and basic math skills
