Job Summary:
As AM Buzz Line Cook, you play a vital role in creating a warm, welcoming environment for customers while preparing and serving high-quality coffee and other beverages. Your responsibilities include taking customer orders, operating equipment, maintaining cleanliness and organization, and ensuring a great customer experience. A friendly attitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment are key to success in this role.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Prepare and serve a variety of espresso drinks, teas, and other beverages to standard.
Make sandwiches, wraps, and salads with fresh ingredients. • Provide excellent customer service with a positive, helpful attitude.
Provide information on menu items, make recommendations, and handle special requests.
Address customer questions, concerns, or complaints professionally.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café, food prep areas, and equipment.
Handle payments and operate the point-of-sale system.
Handle change and receipts accurately.
Restock inventory and assist with receiving deliveries.
Wash dishes, clean equipment, and restock supplies regularly.
Follow all health and safety guidelines and food handling procedures.
Work collaboratively with other staff to ensure smooth operation.
Assist coworkers during busy times and help train new employees if needed.
set up and prep the station at the beginning of the day (opening shifts).
Clean and shut down equipment and secure the store at closing time.
Additional duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:
High school diploma or GED preferred.
Prior cafe experience preferred.
Physical Requirements:
Continuously reach, bend, lift, carry, stoop, and wipe.
Must be able to walk/stand for entire shift.
Must be able to lift to 35 pounds.
Ability to traverse all parts of the restaurant quickly.
