AM Transportation Monitor

Job Title: AM Transportation Monitor
Shift: Tuesday to Saturday, 4:30 AM –1:00 PM
Location: Windsor Locks, CT (On-site)

Join a growing team that values precision, communication, and reliability in the logistics industry. DLP is hiring an experienced AM Transportation Monitor to help monitor and coordinate transportation operations during third shift hours.

Position Summary:

We are looking for a highly organized and detail-driven AM transportation Monitor with a strong background in logistics, transportation coordination, or fleet management. In this key role, you will ensure smooth operations, maintain real-time communication with drivers, and uphold accurate documentation through our Transportation Management System (TMS). Experience in Geotab/Lytx, Nuvizz, Tvizz & Power B.I a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor delivery routes and track driver activity to ensure timely, accurate deliveries.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with drivers regarding schedules, freight presentation, and required paperwork.
• Use TMS software to track, analyze, and report on shipment status and logistics performance.
• Support dispatch functions and route adjustments as needed to meet customer and company expectations.
• Maintain accurate records and promptly report any service issues or discrepancies.
• Provide excellent customer service and phone etiquette when engaging with drivers or clients.

Requirements:

• Experience: Prior work in dispatch, logistics coordination, or transportation administration (required).
• Skills: Strong verbal and written communication, attention to detail, and ability to multitask effectively.
• Tech Proficiency: Must have knowledge in basic office systems.
• Mindset: Proactive, problem-solving attitude with the ability to work independently
• Must be able to commute to or relocate to Windsor Locks, CT before start date.
