Overview
We are seeking a reliable and motivated HR Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for hiring and managing the drivers and basic instructions for the delivery of goods to our customers. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to providing exceptional service. This position requires a keen understanding of logistics and the ability to navigate efficiently while adhering to all safety regulations. Must be able to speak English and Spanish.

Duties for Drivers

  • Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport goods to designated locations.
  • Plan and follow efficient routes to ensure timely deliveries.
  • Load and unload products, ensuring that all items are handled with care.
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including receipts and delivery confirmations.
  • Communicate effectively with customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays.
  • Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while on the road.
  • Conduct routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with warehouse staff to coordinate order fulfillment and inventory management.

Skills

  • Strong communication skills for effective interaction with customers and team members.
  • Organizational skills to manage delivery schedules and maintain accurate records.
  • Knowledge of employment & labor law, including FMLA and OSHA regulations.
  • Experience in conflict management and employee relations within a logistics context.
  • Proficiency in HR sourcing, talent acquisition, and performance management as it relates to team dynamics.
  • Familiarity with HRIS systems such as Workday, Paychex, ADP, or similar platforms for data collection and analysis.
  • Ability to implement process improvement strategies for operational efficiency.
  • Experience in program management and strategic planning within a delivery or logistics framework.
  • Skills in budgeting, payroll administration, benefits administration, and employee evaluation processes.
