Amazon E-Commerce Leader

Position Summary:

We are seeking a strategic, data-driven, and highly motivated Amazon E-Commerce Leader to own and scale our Amazon marketplace presence. This individual will be responsible for developing and executing strategies that drive revenue, profitability, and brand presence on Amazon (Seller Central and Vendor Central). You’ll work cross-functionally with marketing, operations, finance, and product teams to ensure excellence across all aspects of the Amazon channel.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own the Marketplaces P&L – Drive revenue growth and profitability across Amazon and other marketplaces
  • Develop and execute the Amazon strategy, including merchandising, pricing, promotions, SEO/keywords, and ad campaigns.
  • Manage daily operations on Amazon, including listings, catalog health, Buy Box performance, inventory, and logistics coordination (FBA and FBM).
  • Oversee Amazon Advertising (PPC/AMS/Amazon DSP) – Create, optimize, and report on campaign performance.
  • Lead content optimization efforts, including A+ content, brand store, imagery, videos, and enhanced product detail pages.
  • Monitor KPIs and performance metrics, including ROAS, TACoS, conversion rate, rankings, and customer feedback.
  • Collaborate with the supply chain team to ensure optimal stock levels and minimize chargebacks and stockouts.
  • Work with finance and leadership teams to manage budgets, forecasts, and reporting on Amazon performance.
  • Monitor competitive activity and trends to ensure pricing competitiveness and innovation.
  • Stay current with Amazon’s policies, tools, algorithms, and best practices.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in Amazon marketplace management, preferably in consumer goods, retail, or a high-growth e-commerce environment. Experience with other marketplaces is a plus.
  • Deep knowledge of Amazon Seller Central and Vendor Central.
  • Proven success scaling revenue and improving profitability on Amazon.
  • Hands-on experience managing Amazon Ads and keyword strategy.
  • Strong analytical skills; experience with tools like Helium 10, Jungle Scout, Pacvue, or similar is a plus.
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills.
  • Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities.

Preferred Skills:

  • Familiarity with DTC e-commerce platforms (Shopify, Big Commerce, etc.).
  • Knowledge of 1P vs 3P strategy and Amazon hybrid models.
  • Experience working with creative and content teams to elevate brand storytelling.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $50,000.00 per year
