Winery Tasting Room Ambassador
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist Winery Managers/Supervisors with duties as needed.
  • Greet customers using the “Welcome Script” and provide tour of winery.
  • Assist customers with wine tastings and education.
  • Answer telephone calls and address customer questions.
  • Maintain e-mail traffic and respond to customer inquiries.
  • Prepare for and assist customers with bottling wine.
  • Assist with bottling wine for the store.
  • Assist with development/creation of custom labels.
  • Assist with wine makings for the store and customers.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of winery and equipment.
  • Maintain stocking levels of product on the shelves and behind the bar.
  • Must be able to lift 50-60lbs. frequently throughout the work day.

SECONDARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist with deliveries (e.g., bottles, produce, wine making supplies, etc.).
  • Assist with marketing ideas and concepts.
  • Review and maintain accurate Wine Club member records and reports.

EXPECTATIONS

  • Be on time for scheduled work.
  • All team members must be positive, friendly, and energetic at all times! InVINtions should be an inviting, fun, and enjoyable experience for our customers. Treat our customers the way you would want to be treated.
  • All team members must work their scheduled hours. Any changes, must be pre-approved by the Managers. If you are ill, please contact the Managers immediately so necessary arrangements can be made.
  • Attire: Sharp casual should be the underlying thought for attire. This includes nice looking jeans, khaki pants or shorts, collared shirts, InVINtions polo or InVINtions
  • Keep personal calls and texting to a minimum. Absolutely no personal calls or texting on the tasting room floor and if you are assisting customers!
  • All team members must be committed to constant, never-ending improvement.
  • Team members must be detail oriented, able to multi-task, have a sense of urgency, take and follow direction, and be interested in learning.

Job Type: Part-time (Up to 20 hours a week; mostly afternoons, evenings & Saturdays).

Starting Salary: $18.00 /hour (with a 90-day review and potential for increase), plus a tip share.
