SchoolsPLP is a leader in delivering a technology-based curriculum to schools for over 20 years. We are dedicated to delivering high-quality, personalized learning experiences that support student success and engagement. We are currently seeking dedicated Virtual Instructors to join our team.

Role Overview:
As a Virtual Instructor, you will play a crucial role in facilitating online learning and supporting students in their educational journey. Your primary responsibilities will include communicating with students, grading assignments, and providing additional support to ensure their success.

Expectations:

• Communicate with students regularly to address questions and provide support.
• Check and respond to messages within 24 hours Monday through Friday.
• Grade and provide feedback for instructor-graded assignments within 48 hours Monday through Friday.
• Offer additional support based on student attendance, participation, and overall success.
• Utilize the SchoolsPLP internal communication system to offer positive reinforcement and encouragement.
• Notify the SchoolsPLP Director of Virtual Learning if a student becomes fully disengaged.
• Report any issues of plagiarism, cheating, or other concerns to the SchoolsPLP Director of Virtual Learning.
• Follow mandatory reporting procedures and inform the SchoolsPLP Director of Virtual Learning accordingly.

Attributes:

• Technical ability to conduct online synchronous instruction.
• Clear, articulate verbal and written communication skills.
• Patience with students' learning curves, including technology use, audio, and video recordings.
• Excellent grammatical accuracy in written communication with school/district staff and students.
• Adherence to the state department of education code of ethics.

Requirements:

• Valid teaching credentials.
• Fingerprint clearance card and state background check.
• Prior teaching experience in both in-person and virtual environments.
• Professional references.
• Copy of current driver's license or state identification card.
• Social Security Card.
• Personal computer with a microphone and web camera.
• High-speed internet access (Wi-Fi or Ethernet). Candidates are responsible for providing their own equipment.
