AmeriCorps Member - Data Support Coordinator

One World Link is recruiting AmeriCorps members to serve at HEALing Community Health, a 501c3 non-profit community organization seeking Public Health AmeriCorps Service members to make a positive impact within our community. The service opportunity will include the following:

Position Title: Data Support Coordinator

Reports to: HEALing Community Health

Location: 3915 Cascade Road SW, Ste 340, Atlanta, Georgia 30331

Position Type: Full-Time (AmeriCorps Member)

Term of Service: 40 hours per week

Site Supervisor: Lucien Freeman, CFO

Position Summary

The Data Support Coordinator AmeriCorps member will help strengthen the organization’s

ability to serve the community by supporting the collection, organization, and use of

program information. The member will play a key role in ensuring that data is gathered in a

consistent and meaningful way so that staff, volunteers, and community partners can

better understand the impact of services provided. This position will build long-term

systems and tools that improve the organization’s ability to tell its story, meet community

needs, and sustain its programs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with gathering and organizing information about participants, programs, and

services.

  • Maintain program records and ensure information is accurate and up to date.
  • Create simple tools (such as spreadsheets, forms, or checklists) that make it easier

for staff and volunteers to track program activities.

  • Generate basic reports that show progress toward goals and highlight community

impact.

  • Support staff and volunteers in learning how to collect and record data consistently.
  • Help identify areas where information is missing or could be improved.
  • Share success stories and key findings to demonstrate the value of the

organization’s work.

  • Develop step-by-step guides and resources so that data processes can continue

after the service term ends.

Qualifications

  • Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks.
  • Comfortable with basic computer programs such as Microsoft Excel, Google

Sheets, or other common tools (training available).

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Willingness to learn new systems and processes.
  • Friendly, team-oriented, and able to support others with patience.
  • Commitment to national service and to strengthening the mission of HEALing

Community Health.

  • Must meet AmeriCorps eligibility requirements (U.S. citizen or permanent resident,

at least 18 years old, high school diploma/GED).

AmeriCorps Member Benefits

  • Living allowance (stipend) provided by AmeriCorps paid in a bimonthly stipend of $1952.38 before taxes. Upon successful completion of the program, members will receive an education award totaling $7,395 to use for student loans, trade schools, or for another degree/certification.

Job Types: Full-time, Temporary
