Job Summary
Nabi Family Therapy is seeking a compassionate Associate Marriage and Family Therapist, Associate Social Worker, or Associate Professional Clinical Counselor to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide culturally responsive therapy for children, teens, couples, and families, while also having opportunities to work with individuals across the lifespan. This role emphasizes child and family counseling, with a focus on building healthier relationships, supporting healing, and empowering clients to navigate challenges.

Duties
- Provide individual, couples, family, and group therapy with an emphasis on family dynamics and relationships
- Conduct intake assessments and diagnostic evaluations to determine treatment approaches
- Utilize a range of therapeutic modalities such as CBT, PCIT, Psychodynamic Therapy, Art Therapy, and others
- Offer crisis intervention when needed to ensure client safety and stability
- Support clients navigating issues such as trauma, grief, ADHD, autism, and other developmental or behavioral concerns
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in compliance with HIPAA standards
- Coordinate care and resources for clients through case management activities
- Facilitate groups that foster peer support and shared growth
- Collaborate with colleagues and other providers to ensure comprehensive care
- Stay current on research and integrate evidence-based practices into your clinical work
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field
- Active AMFT, ASW, or APCC registration with the California Board of Behavioral Sciences
- Clinical experience in child and family therapy preferred
- Familiarity with motivational interviewing and crisis intervention helpful
- Experience with ADHD and autism populations is a plus
- Bilingual in Spanish or another language strongly valued
- Experience with telehealth services preferred
- Excellent communication skills and ability to connect with diverse clients
- Commitment to ongoing professional growth and training
- Be able to commute 2-3 times/week to our Manhattan Beach office or Irvine office
- Bilingual therapists (e.g. Spanish, Farsi, or other) and LGBTQIA+ and BIPOC clinicians are highly encouraged to apply

Compensation and Benefits
Please note that pay and benefits are based on caseload.
Weekly Clinical Hours & Rate Tiers
- 1 to 22 hours: $35/hour plus specialized training and consultation spaces, staff-only clinical trainings, staff retreats, and sick hour accrual
- 23 to 30 hours: $40/hour plus medical and dental benefits (after maintaining 23+ clients per week for 4+ consecutive weeks), $500 annual educational reimbursement, and 401K with match; maintain 25+ clients per week to begin PTO accrual
- 31 or more hours: $45/hour plus eligibility for paid holidays
Additional Details
- All pre-approved non-clinical administrative hours are paid at $17/hour, including required training, meetings, and supervision
- Paid supervision, educational resources, optional training, and group consultations provided
- Averaging 23 clinical hours per week also makes you eligible for an annual raise
- We pride ourselves on being a deeply supportive therapist community, with many of our therapists staying with us for three years or more
