The purpose of this position is to monitor and analyze the Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) system. Also, analyze data, prepare reports to management on key performance indicator findings and assessments. Identify performance strengths, gaps, and opportunities for improvement.Distinguished Characteristics: This position is responsible for managing, validating, and analyzing data from Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) systems to support utility operations, billing accuracy, and system optimization. The role requires specialized technical expertise in metering systems, data analytics, and troubleshooting, along with the ability to collaborate across departments to resolve complex data issues and improve overall system performance.

assigned.Work closely with management to achieve outcomes based on department goals and strategic initiatives.Assure meters are reporting to the system on a daily basis.Supervise and monitor any repairs that are needed for the system.Monitor and adjust alarms within the system to operate within parameters and design specificationsAnalyze data, prepare reports to management on key performance indicator findings and assessments. Identify performance strengths, gaps, and opportunities for
improvement.Work with Vendors to ensure the system performs to contract specifications.Perform periodic review of department policies and business processes and recommend/update policies and procedures as necessary to improve operational
effectiveness.Support general business operations. This entails but not limited to preparing presentations, coordinating meetings, and other duties as assigned to ensure the effective running of the Utility Operations organization.This position does not have supervisory responsibilities and does not oversee any subordinate supervisors or departments. Additionally, there are no direct reports associated with this role, as it functions as an individual contributor position without managerial or supervisory duties.Additional Functions: Performs other related duties as required.

The employee is regularly required to talk and hear, and may occasionally stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, and perform movements such as climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling. The role does not require the use of taste or smell. Light lifting of up to 10 pounds may be required on an occasional basis, while lifting of heavier weights is not typically required for this position.Sensory Requirements: This position requires a full range of visual capabilities, including close vision for detailed data review, distance vision for general awareness, and color vision to accurately interpret visual information such as charts or system indicators. Peripheral vision and depth perception are necessary to maintain spatial awareness, while the ability to adjust focus is essential for shifting between tasks such as viewing screens and reviewing documents.Environmental Factors: This position is primarily performed in an environment with minimal exposure to hazardous conditions. The employee may occasionally work near moving mechanical parts and be exposed to outdoor weather conditions for a moderate portion of time. Exposure to extreme cold or heat in non-weather conditions is infrequent, and there is little to no exposure to wet or humid conditions, hazardous chemicals, fumes, high or precarious places, electrical shock, radiation, explosives, or vibration.
