Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized Assistant for Healthcare Operations to join our team. Duties
- Provide comprehensive administrative support to healthcare professionals and management staff, including scheduling appointments and managing calendars.
- Handle responsibilities with professionalism and warmth.
- Maintain organized files on different client offices including running reports and updating database accordingly.
- Assist with bookkeeping duties utilizing accounting tools to track expenses, billing, and payments related to healthcare operations.
- Support office management tasks such as proofreading documents and preparing reports.
- Facilitate effective communication by utilizing computer skills, Google Workspace tools, Microsoft Office applications, and maintaining high standards of phone etiquette.
- Manage incoming inquiries via phone or email with professionalism, providing timely responses and support as needed.
Requirements
- Proven experience in office management or administrative roles within healthcare or related fields.
- Strong computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook), Google Workspace (Gmail, Drive), and data entry systems.
- Familiarity with medical practice operations a plus.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a busy environment.
- Bilingual abilities are a plus to assist diverse patient populations.
- Exceptional phone etiquette skills with experience handling multi-line phone systems confidently.
- Previous clerical or administrative experience in a healthcare setting is highly desirable.
- Strong typing skills along with attention to detail for proofreading documents and managing records accurately.
- Ability to manage time efficiently while balancing multiple responsibilities seamlessly.
- Personal assistant or office support experience that demonstrates reliability and proactive problem-solving skills.
