AML Manager

Position Summary The AML Team Manager leads the Istanbul-based AML operations team, ensuring effective transaction monitoring, investigations, and reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a team of AML Analysts to ensure timely review of alerts and investigations.
• Oversee the quality and accuracy of case handling, documentation, and escalations.
• Coordinate with the MLRO on high-risk cases, STRs, and regulatory submissions.
• Implement process improvements to strengthen AML operational efficiency.
• Mentor and train team members on AML best practices.

Requirements

• 5–7 years of AML operations experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of transaction monitoring systems and EDD/KYC processes.
• Familiarity with Turkish AML/CTF regulatory requirements.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication (Turkish and English).
