AML Senior Analyst

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive AML compliance reviews and audits to assess the adequacy of existing procedures and controls.
• Perform transaction monitoring and suspicious activity investigations, documenting findings and recommendations.
• Develop and implement AML policies and procedures to meet regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
• Maintain current knowledge of AML regulations, legislation, trends, and best practices to ensure compliance.
• Prepare and present reports on AML issues and findings to management and regulatory authorities.
• Train and educate staff on AML policies, procedures, and risk awareness.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to foster a culture of compliance and risk management.
• Participate in the development of risk assessments and mitigation strategies for emerging money laundering threats.
• Support internal and external audits related to AML compliance.
• Respond to inquiries from regulatory bodies and assist in examinations or audits.

Requirements

• At least 3 years’ experience in SAS implementation solution for Anti money laundry
• Proven experience in configuring SAS modules and creating business scenarios
• Financial industry experience, particularly in AML, Compliance, and risk management roles.

Skills:

• Strong understanding of AML regulations and compliance frameworks.
• Expertise in conducting investigations and risk assessments.
• Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
