AML/CFT Compliance and Reporting Officer

QUALIFICATIONS:

• University graduate- Preferably with a degree in Law
• At least 3 years working as Money Laundering Compliance & Reporting Officer or related Legal & Financial Management field or company within GCC countries
• Knowledge of Qatar Government Laws, AML/CFT laws, regulations, standards.
• Must have Anti-Money Laundering Certifications (e.g. CAMS) ,Additional Professional Certifications / Memberships like PMP, CISA, CFE etc would be an added advantage.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Undertake the compliance monitoring program, advising the Management Board of any findings, updating the tests where appropriate.
• Receive, review, investigate and, if appropriate, externalize internal Suspicious Activity Reports
• Roll out on-line AML training to all new employees
• Conduct regular, effective training (and updates as necessary) to ensure that partners, directors and staff are aware of and understand the requirements of relevant legislation and Compliance Policy and Procedures.
• Keep updated with relevant regulatory news and laws
• Ensure that all regulatory changes are reviewed and the impact notified to the Management Board
• Recommend any changes to operating procedures as required in light of regulation or procedural changes and when required provide input into the development of new operating procedures
• Lead the investigation of any suspected breaches of legal or regulatory requirements or internal compliance policies and standards
• Prepare And submit necessary reports to the Management Board

3. Strong English communication skills both written and verbal (Knowledge of Arabic language would be an added advantage)

4. Credible and assertive manner.

5. Discretion, tact and resilience.

6. Expertise in the Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook Note
