Salary: 3000 SAR + 200 SAR (Food Allowance)

Job Overview: We are hiring skilled Ammonia Gas Technicians for a leading industrial project in Saudi Arabia. The role requires expertise in ammonia-based refrigeration systems, preventive and predictive maintenance, troubleshooting, and ensuring compliance with safety and environmental standards. Candidates with hands-on experience in compressors, evaporators, condensers, and PLC-controlled equipment are highly encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• System Operation & Monitoring: Operate, monitor, and document ammonia refrigeration systems, log readings, analyze trends, and optimize efficiency.
• Preventive & Predictive Maintenance: Perform scheduled maintenance tasks (oil changes, filters, belt adjustments, calibrations) and identify potential issues early.
• Troubleshooting & Repair: Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical malfunctions to minimize downtime.
• Safety & Compliance: Follow company safety policies, PSM, RMP, and environmental regulations; participate in safety training and emergency drills.
• Record Keeping: Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, refrigerant usage, inspections, and repairs.
• System Integrity: Conduct leak detection, inspections, and testing of components to ensure ammonia system safety.
• Emergency Response: Serve as a trained responder in ammonia-related incidents following established safety protocols.

Qualifications & Experience

• Diploma in Mechanical, HVAC, or Vocational HVAC-R / Industrial Refrigeration.
• 5-6 years of hands-on experience with ammonia refrigeration systems.
• Practical knowledge of reciprocating compressors, pumps, evaporators, condensers, and PLC systems.
• Strong understanding of thermodynamics and industrial maintenance practices.
• CARO/CIRO certified (HAZWOPER or similar certification preferred).
