Ammonia Operator Responsibilities & Duties

• Monitor the ammonia water chiller plant process and adjust controls to regulate levels, pressure, and temperature.
• Inspect and maintain water chiller equipment to ensure proper functioning.
• Charging ammonia plant
• Adhere to safety protocols and environmental regulations while handling ammonia and operating equipment.
• Record operational data and generate reports for process optimization.
• Troubleshoot and resolve equipment malfunctions and process abnormalities.
• Coordinate with other team members and departments to ensure seamless operation and product quality.

Ammonia Operator Qualifications & Skills

• Experience in chemical processing or a similar industrial environment.
• Certification or training in ammonia handling and safety.
• Familiarity with SCADA systems and other process control software.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Relevant technical or vocational training in process operation or chemical engineering.
• Previous experience in operating ammonia water chiller equipment or similar machinery.
• Knowledge of safety standards and regulatory requirements for ammonia processing.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
• Physical capability to perform strenuous tasks and handle hazardous materials.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to document processes accurately
