Anaesthesia Doctor

Job Summary

We are looking for a qualified and experienced Anaesthetist to manage anaesthesia services for hair transplant and minor surgical procedures . The role involves administering local/tumescent anaesthesia, monitoring patient vitals, ensuring patient safety, and providing peri-operative support in a day-care clinical setup.

Key Responsibilities

Clinical Responsibilities

• Administer local, regional, and IV sedation anaesthesia as required for hair transplant and other minor procedures.
• Conduct pre-anaesthetic evaluation including medical history, vitals assessment, and risk stratification.
• Monitor patients’ vital signs intra-operatively and post-procedure.
• Manage pain control, anxiety, and comfort during procedures.
• Handle medical emergencies, adverse reactions, and complications promptly and effectively.
  
  

Patient Care & Safety

• Ensure strict adherence to patient safety protocols and infection control standards.
• Counsel patients regarding anaesthesia plans, risks, and post-procedure precautions.
• Provide post-anaesthesia care and clearance for discharge in day-care procedures.
  
  

Documentation & Compliance

• Maintain accurate anaesthesia records and consent documentation.
• Ensure compliance with medical council guidelines, clinic SOPs, and legal standards.
• Coordinate with surgeons, dermatologists, and nursing staff for smooth OT functioning.
  
  

Team Coordination

• Work closely with hair transplant surgeons, technicians, and OT staff.
• Guide nursing staff on monitoring and post-procedure care.
  
  

Eligibility & Qualifications

• MBBS + MD/DNB/DA in Anaesthesiology from a recognized institute.
• Valid Medical Council registration.
• Minimum 1–3 years of experience (experience in day-care surgery / cosmetic clinics preferred).
• Exposure to local anaesthesia, sedation, and emergency management.

• Ability to work in a high-volume day-care clinical environment.
