Anaesthesia Technician – One Day Surgery Hospital

We are looking for a qualified and detail-oriented Anaesthesia Technician to join our One Day Surgery Hospital in Dubai. The ideal candidate will support anesthesiologists during surgical procedures and ensure all anesthesia equipment and patient monitoring systems are prepared, maintained, and functioning safely and efficiently.

Salary

AED 6,000 – 8,000 per month
Salary package will depend on experience, DHA licensing status, and hospital/day surgery experience within the UAE market.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain anesthesia machines, monitors, and related equipment
• Assist Anaesthesia Specialists during surgical and diagnostic procedures
• Prepare medications, IV lines, airway equipment, and emergency carts
• Monitor and document equipment functionality and sterilization processes
• Ensure patient safety standards and infection control protocols are followed
• Support pre-operative and post-operative anesthesia care
• Maintain inventory and stock levels for anesthesia supplies and consumables
• Coordinate effectively with surgeons, nurses, and operating theatre staff

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Anaesthesia Technology or relevant healthcare field
• DHA License or DHA Eligibility Letter as Anaesthesia Technician
• Minimum 2–4 years of experience in hospitals or day surgery centers
• Good knowledge of anesthesia equipment and patient monitoring systems
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced surgical environment

Preferred Qualifications

• UAE healthcare experience preferred
• Experience in Day Surgery / Ambulatory Surgical Centers
• BLS/ACLS certification is an advantage
