Job Description:CRO Analyst

Job Summary:
The Analyst, Conversion Rate Optimization is responsible foronline conversion funnel data analytics activities for multiple clients. In this capacity, this person will work directly with Optimization Lead and Engagement managers to analyse analytics data for client websites and various sources to provide meaningful insight. The person should also have very strong working knowledge of analytics tools like Google Analytics, Omniture SiteCatalyst. Working knowledge of Visual Web Optimizer (VWO) and Adobe Testing tools is added advantage.

Key Skills Set:

  • Minimum 1 year of total work experience
  • Identify client-specific KPI’s, turning analysis into actionable test and design recommendations
  • A/B and multivariate testing plan development and test analysis
  • Evaluate A/B, multi-variate, split URL, landing page, and conversion path test results using testing tools
  • Designing dashboards for various stakeholders
  • Strong analytical skills to analyse data and uncover business insights
  • Strong understanding of campaigns and attribution with the ability to implement and create reports
  • Report on progress regularly and generally be responsible for the success of client initiatives and KPI Improvement
  • Development of analytics requirements, success metrics, key performance indicators, and best practices for new sites and campaigns to drive ongoing actionable insight to meet business goals
  • Ability to create test plans. Work with developers to set up and run accurate tests on a variety of websites using Visual Website Optimizer and Adobe Target
  • Be able to identify duration of tests, traffic requirements, test type (A/B or MVT), objective of the tests, Hypothesis generation, single page or multi-page, functionality changes, devices and browser requirements
  • Ability to come up with goals to be set up in the testing tools
Great to Have
  • Ability to troubleshoot and fix website analytics issues
  • Ability to implement web analytics best practices across multiple websites
  • Understanding of cross channel digital marketing strategies


Minimum Requirements:
  • B.E./B.Tech. degree in Computer Science (preferred), Mathematics, or Business Administration required
  • 1+ years’ worth of hands-on experience with Google Analytics and OmnitureSiteCatalyst
  • Good to have VWO and Adobe Target experience
