Job Description:

The Cash Management Analyst reports to the Senior Vice President, Treasury & Cash Management. This role is responsible for supporting the daily financial operations of the organization by managing, monitoring, and analyzing day-to-day cash activity across multiple entities. The position plays a critical role in ensuring accurate cash positioning, timely execution of banking transactions, strong controls, and reliable reporting to support operational and investment decision-making.

This role is based out of our corporate office in McLean, VA and has an in-office schedule.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily cash flow across all operating and investment entities, maintaining clear visibility into liquidity needs and upcoming obligations
  • Execute and coordinate critical payments, including time sensitive disbursements, while confirming adequate funding and smooth processing
  • Manage end-to-end ACH and wire activity, handling high-volume, complex transfers with accuracy and timely completion across multiple banking platforms
  • Verify all transactions post and clear properly, escalating issues or delays
  • Reconcile cash and banking activity for all accounts, identifying discrepancies and resolving variances
  • Develop and maintain short-term cash forecasts
  • Prepare vendor credit applications
  • Serve as primary contact to internal teams for banking and cash-related inquiries
  • Perform ad-hoc analyses, research, and project work in support of broader finance and treasury initiatives

Key Qualifications & Competencies:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics or related field, or additional relevant experience in lieu of degree
  • Minimum 3 years of cash management, treasury operations, banking operations, corporate finance, or similar functions
  • Experience with ERP/ treasury systems and major banking platforms; candidates with Yardi experience are strongly encouraged to apply
  • Strong analytical skills with advanced Excel proficiency with the ability to analyze, interpret, and reconcile financial data
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrated process discipline and operational rigor with the ability to anticipate issues and mitigate risk proactively
  • Effective collaborator with internal teams and banking partners, demonstrating a strong sense of urgency and accountability
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • High integrity, trust, and sound judgement when handling confidential or sensitive financial information
  • Candidates with experience in commercial real estate, development, or multi-entity accounting are strongly encouraged to apply
