The Analyst/Senior Analyst – Education will support the Education & Skills Development vertical by conducting research, supporting program design, engaging stakeholders, managing documentation, and assisting in business development efforts. The role demands, strategic thinking, strong communication skills, and a deep interest in education sector.


Key Performance Area:

  • Business development and implementation of education sector projects.
  • Provide technical expertise across project teams and clients for Education.


Key Functions & Responsibilitie s:


Business Development

  • Track and analyze upcoming opportunities in the education and early childhood development sector.
  • Support proposal development processes including research, writing, formatting, and day-to-day coordination.
  • Assist in maintaining opportunity pipelines, donor databases, and team updates on BD status.


Research and Analysis

  • Conduct literature reviews and compile secondary data on global and national best practices in education and thematic areas such as ECCE, Teacher Professional Development etc.
  • Analyze quantitative and qualitative data related to learning outcomes, child development, and socio-economic indicators.
  • Prepare briefs, slide decks, and concept notes for internal and external dissemination .


Project Management Support

  • Assist in designing early childhood and school education programs in alignment with national education policies.
  • Contribute to the development of curriculum frameworks, training modules, and digital learning content.


Stakeholder/ Client Engagement

  • Coordinate with government departments, NGOs, consultants, and education experts to collect insights and feedback.
  • Responsible for building and maintaining relationships with key client stakeholders and be responsible for achievement of goals.


Partnership Development:

  • Initiate and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including educational institutions, education sector firms, and government bodies for proposals and future opportunities.


Branding and Positioning

  • Publish in technical / trade journals, write papers on chosen technical expertise, or speak at industry events representing IPE.
  • Promote IPE through speaking engagements at industry conferences and involvement in local business organizations.
  • Ensure that all work submitted as part of the proposal, research and development is technically sound.
  • Support the Knowledge Management initiative by providing technical inputs, write ups, cases, etc.
  • Any other task assigned by the reporting manager/ head of the department.


Qualifications And Experience:

  • MBA/ Master's degree in a relevant field such as economics, business, education, or a related field.
  • At least 3+ years of experience in the education sector with a focus on business development activities along with implementation of projects.


Essential skill set:


  • Strong understanding of relevant education policies and programs such as NCF, NEP, NIPUN Bharat, platforms such as DIKSHA, NISHTHA etc.Knowledge of Teacher Professional Development, Early Childhood Education or other thematic areas in education sector.
  • Strong understanding of best practices and approaches such as level-based assessments, competency frameworks, cascade model trainings, digital engaging e-learning material, etc.Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
  • Experience of designing/implementing Donor funded and Central/State Government Technical Assistance/capacity building programmes is an advantage.
  • Capable of taking initiatives on their own with minimum level of supervision.
  • Excellent communication skills: able to clearly communicate complex information verbally and in writing.
  • Open to working in multi-cultural environments and effectively in small and large teams.
