This position is located in the Budgets office of the Administrative Services Division and is responsible for providing analysis, technical assistance, and program direction to the California Department of Veterans Affairs (CalVet) management in all areas associated with budget planning, development, and execution related to an assigned area of the Department’s budget. Incumbent is expected to consistently exercise a high degree of confidentiality, initiative, responsibility, and independence in performing a heavy workload and meet short deadlines with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.

Statement of Qualifications
The SOQ serves as documentation of your ability to present information clearly and concisely in writing. In your SOQ, describe your experience, knowledge, and competencies as they relate to each of the items listed below. The items must be addressed and numbered in the same order as listed; do not consolidate responses. The SOQ must be no more than 2 pages, typed, using 12-point Arial font on standard letter-sized paper with one (1)-inch margins. Clearly label the SOQ with your name. Re-state each question with corresponding number; then provide your response.
