Analyst, Investment Management, Aaron Wealth Advisors

We seek an Analyst to support our Investment Team in portfolio management, research, and reporting. This role is ideal for someone motivated by working as part of a smaller team in an entrepreneurial environment. The Analyst will gain exposure to sophisticated investment strategies across public and private markets and play a critical role in maintaining data integrity, supporting due diligence, and preparing materials for client meetings.

The ideal candidate is hands-on by nature, thrives in a collaborative environment, and approaches every task with curiosity and attention to detail. This role will be based in our Chicago, IL office.

We work with our clients to create fully integrated, customized asset allocations for achieving their overall goals and objectives, rather than focusing on individual subsets of their broader financial picture in isolation. Balancing the dual objectives of risk management and after-tax growth over time, we build and implement a plan designed to help our clients meet the goals that are most important to them and their legacy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Reporting & Analysis: Prepare client performance reports, analyze client portfolios using research and other available tools, assist with portfolio analysis across public and private markets, analyze prospective client portfolios.
  • Portfolio & Data Management: Maintain accurate data, and manual asset entry, into our consolidated reporting system. Assist with capital call notices, distributions, and onboarding processes.
  • Technology: Become expert in all technological tools available to the firm for performance metrics, benchmarking and consolidated client reporting.
  • Advisor Interaction: Collaborate regularly with advisors on client issues and requests, support advisors by explaining data and performance, and gradually develop the ability to communicate investment concepts to advisors and clients.
  • Due Diligence Support: Assist team with both private and public manager research, prep summary tables, pull metrics, and organize documentation.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with CIO and Investment Team on all new business and investment opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • 4-year college degree; Finance, math, economics, or related field preferred.
  • 1–4 years of experience in private wealth management, asset management, or related field.
  • CFA Level I or progress toward CFA designation preferred.
  • Highly detail-oriented, organized, and able to follow rigorous processes.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • A team player who thrives in an entrepreneurial and results-oriented environment.
  • Experience with Salesforce, Addepar, Bloomberg and Schwab is a plus.
  • Demonstrated commitment to both partnership and teamwork, and intuitive to proactively address all issues as they arise.

Compensation & Benefits:

$70,000-80,000+ Highly competitive salary + bonus, benefits including: 401(k) plan, 401(k) plan employer match, health, vision, dental, professional development reimbursement, unlimited PTO and more.
