Analyst-Investment & Strategy Role Overview • EnergyX is seeking an Analyst-Investment & Strategy to support M&A execution, financial modelling, fundraising, and IPO readiness. • The role works closely with senior leadership, finance teams, and external advisors on strategic transactions and capital planning. Key Responsibilities Financial Modelling & Valuation: • Build integrated financial models for M&A, investments, fundraising, and long-term planning. • Perform valuation analysis (DCF, trading comps, precedent transactions) and scenario modelling. M&A, Transactions & Capital Market: • Support target evaluation, due diligence, deal structuring, pricing analysis, and preparation of investment memoranda, board materials, and management presentations. • Develop investor models, forecasts, KPIs, and financial narratives, and support equity/debt fundraising and IPO readiness processes.
Requirements
Educational Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related field. Experience: • 2-4+ years of experience in investment banking, capital markets (DCM/ECM), M&A, private equity, or transaction advisory. • Strong financial modelling skills with experience in M&A and fundraising transactions. Preferred Qualifications: • CFA or CPA (or active candidate). • Global transaction (M&A or IPO) exposure. • Qatari nationals preferred. Key Skills: • Advanced financial modelling and analytical skills. • Strong presentation and communication abilities. • Ability to manage multiple transactions in a fast-paced environment.
