Analyst, Operational Controls Testing

POSITION SUMMARY:

The primary task of the Analyst is to perform testing and providing actionable insight. Through testing, an analyst will validate the various process. As he or she validates the processes, they have a checklist that will be used to capture the detailed information. Internal monthly discussion sessions are scheduled to analyze the opportunity/observation identified during the Testing period.

JOB FUNCTION AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsibilities and Key Result Areas:

• Perform monthly testing for various Business Units in the Forward Servicing
• Analyze observations from testing and report to Team Leader
• Make recommendations to help reduce process related errors
• Track Business Unit responses for all findings identified from the Testing
• Liaise with Management and develop project plans to address opportunities identified through process testing
Provide management with timely reports documenting observations from testing

QUALIFICATION:

• Should be a graduate.
• Understanding of the Mortgage Industry, Loan Servicing
• Proficient in Excel
• Exposure to 7 basic quality tools preferred
• Ability to work on multiple projects and also periodically set and achieve stretch goals
• Quick Learner, Analytical and High attention to detail
Work independently with minimum supervision
