Analyst - Portfolio Analytics (Temporary)

We are seeking a detail-oriented Analyst to join our Portfolio Analytics team on a temporary basis. This role is responsible for reviewing and analyzing multifamily loan documentation, extracting key provisions, and accurately logging data in a structured tracking system. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with a foundational understanding of multifamily loan documents, strong analytical capabilities, and a demonstrated ability to review complex legal and financial documentation with precision and consistency.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Review loan agreements and related closing documents for accuracy and completeness.
  • Extract relevant provisions, clauses, and references from complex legal and financial documentation.
  • Interpret document language accurately and consistently in accordance with established review guidelines.
  • Record findings in a structured Excel tracking log, ensuring complete and accurate data entry.
  • Maintain organized documentation of reviewed files to support audit trail and reference needs.
  • Identify and escalate ambiguous or inconsistent language to the appropriate team member.
  • Complete assigned document reviews within established deadlines.
  • Adhere to confidentiality standards when handling sensitive borrower and transaction information.
  • Follow internal procedures and quality control standards throughout the review process.

Experience, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Foundational understanding of real estate markets, with emphasis on multifamily assets.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret complex legal and financial language.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data entry, tracking, and basic reporting functions.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage and review multiple documents efficiently.
  • Clear and concise written communication skills for documenting findings and escalating issues.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision after initial training.
  • Effective time management skills with the ability to meet established deadlines.
