Analyst / Senior Analyst

COMPANY OVERVIEW


Broadview Real Estate Partners is a private equity real estate investment manager focused on investing in and alongside experienced operating partners across multiple property types. Broadview seeks opportunistic, risk-adjusted returns through value-add acquisitions, development, and redevelopment strategies.


Broadview manages multiple discretionary investment vehicles on behalf of institutional investors including the recently closed Broadview Real Estate Partners Fund II, a $100 MM fund. 


Broadview’s office is located in Stamford, Connecticut, adjacent to the Metro-North station, with a commute time from New York City of less than one hour. Broadview has a hybrid work policy with three days in person and two days remote.


ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES


Broadview is seeking a highly-motivated, professional, and detail-oriented individual to join its Investments team. The Investments Analyst / Senior Analyst will work closely with senior investment professionals to support new investment underwriting, asset management, and investor reporting across multiple funds and asset classes. 


Other responsibilities include:


  • Support underwriting of acquisition, development, and redevelopment opportunities through detailed financial and operating models.
  • Construct financial and operating models as part of the underwriting process to determine key performance metrics such as IRRs, multiples, and return on cost.
  • Conduct market research, comparable analyses, and property-level due diligence to support underwriting assumptions.
  • Support ongoing monitoring of portfolio investments, including review of operating performance, budgets, capital plans, and business plan execution.
  • Assist with quarterly valuation updates and investment re-forecasts.

QUALIFICATIONS


0-3 years of analytical experience at a brokerage firm, real estate private equity firm, or related business. Class of 2026 graduates with relevant internship experience will be considered. 


  • Experience building and working with financial models in Excel.
  • Familiarity with joint venture waterfalls, promote structures, and real estate private equity return mechanics.
  • Ability to research, identify, qualify, and use data sources necessary for underwriting/modeling.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Experience with Word and PowerPoint is required.
  • Positive attitude, intellectual curiosity, and willingness to take ownership of responsibilities.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
