Salary : $60,000-$70,000
REQUIREMENTS : Applicant must have five (5) years of professional experience in the review, analysis and evaluation of the operations of business or government organization.
RESPONSIBILITIES : Under direction analyzes applications for grants submitted by departments of the jurisdiction to determine whether the grant requested is consistent with the needs and priorities of the jurisdiction. Reviews proposed application of grants by agencies of the jurisdiction. Collects pertinent information to determine whether jurisdiction needs materials or services to be supplied under the grant. Discuss with officials of the jurisdiction impact of proposed programs on existing structure. Conduct onsite monitoring of funded programs using a standardized report sheet for the purpose of observing actual operation of the programs. Meet with various supervisory personnel and /or administrators to gather in-depth information on their various programs, goals, objectives or problems. Knowledge of approved methods of compiling and interpreting data for the purpose of writing factual reports. Ability to understand noncomplex contractual agreement and/or federal regulations for the purpose of understanding the working of funded programs. Ability to provide and maintain accurate records of grant spending, drawdowns and more.
