Analytical Chemist

Responsibilities

• Conduct analytical testing and sample preparation to support research, development, and product characterization activities.
• Assist in developing, validating, and refining analytical methods for various chemical and formulation samples.
• Operate and maintain advanced analytical instruments such as HPLC, GC, LC/GC/MS, and related laboratory equipment.
• Perform wet chemistry analyses including titrations, Karl Fischer moisture determinations, and other quantitative/qualitative techniques.
• Record, process, and interpret analytical data while maintaining high standards for accuracy, traceability, and data integrity.
• Contribute to troubleshooting instrument performance issues and implementing corrective actions as needed.
• Collaborate with team members across multiple technical functions to support ongoing research or product development efforts.
• Follow established safety procedures, documentation requirements, and laboratory quality practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a closely related scientific field.
• Previous experience in an analytical, research, or development laboratory required.
• Hands-on familiarity with chromatographic and spectroscopic instrumentation such as HPLC, GC, and LC/GC/MS.
• Working knowledge of analytical chemistry principles, data analysis, and method validation techniques.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills within a technical or laboratory setting.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
