Analytical Laboratory Technician

Salary Range: $20–$25 per hour, depending on education, experience, and qualifications.

About Us

We are an FDA-registered and ISO/IEC 17025 accredited analytical laboratory providing pharmaceutical, biotechnology, compounding pharmacy, and research testing services. Our laboratory specializes in analytical chemistry, microbiological testing, method development and validation, stability studies, sterility testing, endotoxin testing, and quality assurance services.

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Analytical Laboratory Technician to join our growing team. This position offers hands-on training with advanced analytical instrumentation and an excellent opportunity to develop a career in pharmaceutical and analytical laboratory sciences.

Position Summary

The Analytical Laboratory Technician will assist laboratory scientists and senior analysts with sample preparation, routine testing, documentation, instrument maintenance, and quality system activities. Training will be provided for qualified candidates with strong scientific backgrounds and a willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

Laboratory Operations

  • Receive, label, log, and organize laboratory samples.
  • Prepare standards, reagents, buffers, and mobile phases.
  • Perform sample preparation according to approved procedures.
  • Maintain laboratory cleanliness and organization.

Analytical Testing

  • Assist with routine testing using:
  • HPLC/UPLC Systems
  • UV-Vis Spectrophotometers
  • LC-MS systems
  • Biochemical testing Systems
  • Microbiological Testing Equipment
  • Record and review analytical data.
  • Support method verification and validation studies.

Documentation & Compliance

  • Complete laboratory worksheets, notebooks, and electronic records.
  • Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and USP guidelines.
  • Support FDA and ISO/IEC 17025 quality system requirements.
  • Participate in training programs and competency assessments.

Equipment Maintenance

  • Perform routine instrument checks and maintenance.
  • Assist with calibration and qualification activities.
  • Report equipment issues to laboratory supervisors.

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Biotechnology
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Basic laboratory knowledge obtained through coursework or internships.
  • Ability to learn laboratory procedures and instrumentation.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

Preferred

  • Previous laboratory internship, co-op, or research experience.
  • Exposure to HPLC, UPLC, LC-MS/MS, GC, or microbiological testing.
  • Familiarity with GMP, GLP, USP, FDA, or ISO quality systems.
  • Experience with laboratory software or chromatography data systems.

Shift Availability

  • Weekdays 9am-6pm
  • Saturdays as needed
