Job Overview:

We are seeking a versatile and proactive Analytics Engineer to join our team. This critical role bridges data engineering and business analytics, responsible for transforming raw data into reliable, accessible insights. You will build and manage the data pipelines and models that power our analytics and then use that data to create the reports and dashboards that drive strategic decisions. The ideal candidate is a problem-solver who is comfortable in both the technical details of data infrastructure (Salesforce, AWS, PostgreSQL, Terraform) and the business application of data analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

Data Modeling & Engineering:

• Design, build, and maintain scalable and reliable ELT data pipelines, moving data from sources like Salesforce into our PostgreSQL data warehouse.
• Develop and manage curated data models, transforming raw source data into clean, analysis-ready datasets optimized for business intelligence.
• Utilize Terraform to manage and provision our data infrastructure as code (IaC), ensuring our systems are consistent and repeatable.
• Implement and oversee data quality checks and monitoring to ensure the accuracy and integrity of our data assets.

Analytics & Business Intelligence:

• Partner with sales, marketing, and operations teams to translate business questions into KPIs, metrics, and analytical projects.
• Develop, own, and maintain key business dashboards and reports using our BI tools to track performance and provide actionable insights.
• Conduct ad-hoc analysis to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improving business efficiency and effectiveness.
• Communicate findings clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field like Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, or a related discipline.
• 3+ years of experience in a data-focused role such as Analytics Engineer, Data Analyst, or BI Engineer.
• Strong proficiency in SQL for complex querying, data manipulation, and modeling.
• Hands-on experience building reports and dashboards in a BI tool (e.g., Tableau, Looker, Power BI, Metabase).
• Proven experience building or maintaining data pipelines (ETL/ELT processes).
• Experience working with data from CRMs like Salesforce.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
• English language proficiency.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with cloud data services on AWS (S3, Glue, Lambda).
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform.
• Proficiency in a scripting language, preferably Python, for data analysis or automation.
• Salesforce certifications or deep knowledge of the Salesforce data model.
