We are looking for a skilled and experienced Analyzer Technician (IAT) to join a reputated company in Kuwait. The role involves performing maintenance, troubleshooting, and calibration of various online analyzers and electronic instruments in a refinery or petrochemical environment. The ideal candidate should have strong technical expertise and be capable of working independently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of pneumatic and electronic instruments used in refinery/petrochemical operations
- Troubleshoot and repair all types of online analyzers
- Conduct component-level maintenance in solid-state and microprocessor-based alarm annunciators (e.g., Ronan, Panalarm/Rochester)
- Work with smart devices and perform field calibration and diagnostics
- Carry out independent loop checking from the marshalling racks
- Familiar with DCS systems (preferably Honeywell), PLC, and ESD systems
- Read and interpret P&IDs, wiring diagrams, loop drawings, and technical manuals
- Prepare and maintain accurate technical reports and equipment maintenance records
Qualifications:
- Must be currently based in the UAE and available for deployment to Kuwait
- Completed Higher Secondary School (12 years of education)
- Completed ITI or NCTVT (2-year full-time course) in Instrumentation or Electronics
- Minimum 7 years of hands-on experience in instrumentation/analyzer maintenance in refinery or petrochemical plants
- Strong knowledge of electronic instrumentation, analyzers, smart devices, and control systems
- Proficient in English (spoken and written); Arabic language skills are an advantage
- Capable of writing clear technical documentation and maintenance reports
Preferred Skills:
- Experience working with Honeywell DCS, PLCs, and ESDs
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work both independently and in a team
- Familiarity with safety procedures and international maintenance standards
